Meet Abigail Foster

With advanced knowledge in interior design, Abigail Foster has established herself as a leading designer in the industry. Based in Washington, DC, Abigail is renowned for her distinctive ability to blend elegance with functionality, creating spaces that are true to who her clients are growing to be.

 

Abigail’s journey into interior design began with a passion for art and architecture, which she pursues through formal education at Anne Arundel Community College of Interior Design. She honed her skills at several design studios and staging companies before launching her own studio, Aurora & Co. Designs, in 2024.

 

Her design philosophy revolves around the belief that every space should tell a story, reflecting the personalities and lifestyles of her clients. “I want the guests of my clients to see my clients throughout every part of their home,” Abigail says. Her keen eye for detail and commitment to quality have earned her a loyal clientele.

 

In addition to her design work, Abigail is a frequent speaker at industry events and a mentor to aspiring designers. She believes in the importance of continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the field.

 

When she’s not designing, Abigail serves as the President of her golfing organization, City Girls Golf, where she organizes golf outings, events, and networking opportunities. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and finding inspiration throughout the world. Born into a Jamaican household, her love for travel often influences her work, infusing her designs with global elements and a unique, worldly perspective.
